This 5-bedroomed, passage-terrace town house was built in 1887 and have seen work to improve its SAP rating from an E to a D, and additional planned work should improve it further. The use of Solar PV, triple glazing and insulation have reduced energy costs. We've recently had the rear sash windows upgraded by a local joiner to be double glazed and have good draught-sealing - the front windows will follow soon, so this is a chance to compare and contrast!

The household lives as a co-op, and plan to have further work to improve insulation, draught-proofing and controlled ventilation.

Bus information: Bus route 22 to Nether Edge - get off at Wostenholm Road for the top of Steade Road.
Or buses 75, 76, 97, 98 along Abbeydale Road, get off at Chippinghouse Road stop and go up Chippinghouse Rd (turn right), Steade Road is on the 2nd right.

The front door steps are steep and there is no handrail.
